Student Handbook for Our CoursesEnrolments are handled through a Community College. There are no refunds. It is the student’s responsibility to decide whether they have sufficient language skills to complete the course. You can take a trial Medical Terminology test here (answers provided). Note: the actual assessments are much longer. CoursesMost courses run for 12 weeks. Three weeks between assignments is recommended, however the dates are flexible. As a guide, allow approximately five hours per week study time. AssessmentsIt is the student’s responsibility to keep a copy of their assignments in case something happens to it. Feedback will be emailed (if possible). If feedback is not received within two weeks the assessor should be contacted. If the assessor cannot be contacted, then contact the college you enrolled through. After three attempts an assessor may decide that a student is ‘Not Yet Competent’ (the assessments are based on strict guidelines). The assessor will make recommendations for further training if necessary. ExtensionsIn extreme circumstances extensions are available up to 12 months. AppealsIf the student wishes to appeal the decision they should do so in writing within thirty (30) days after receiving the decision from the assessor. |
